Setting up Facebook pixels

  1. If you are setting up Facebook pixels for the first time:

    1. First, sign up or login with your Facebook account

    2. Click "Create a Pixel"

    3. Once you've created your pixel, you're ready to put the Facebook pixel code on your E-shop under Storeberry. Click "Manually Install the Code Yourself".

    4. Under the full pixel code frame, identify your Facebook Pixel ID

  2. If you have set up Facebook pixels before, just copy the Pixel ID from Events Manager in Facebook.

After you have identified your Facebook pixel ID, you can add it to your E-shop via Storeberry admin panel.

  1. Go to ‘E-shop’

  2. Under "Home" tab, scroll down to "E-shop Analytics"

  3. Under "Facebook Pixel", toggle to "Enable"

  4. Paste your 16-digits Facebook Pixel ID into the text field

  5. Click "Save"

If you want to verify whether your Facebook pixel has been implemented properly, you can

  1. Send test traffic to your pixel

  2. Install "Pixel Helper" extension if you are Chrome user

 

Setting up Google Analytics

If you have not set up any Analytics tracking, you'll first need to create a property in Google Analytics.

  1. Sign in to Google Analytics

  2. Click "Admin"

  3. Under "Property" column, click "Tracking Info"

  4. Select "Tracking Code"

  5. You will find your "Tracking ID" (UA-XXXXXXXXX)

After you have identified your Google Analytics tracking ID, then you can input it on Storeberry admin panel.

  1. Go to "E-shop"

  2. Under "Home" tab, scroll down to "E-shop Analytics"

  3. Under "Google Analytics", toggle to "Enable"

  4. Paste your Google Analytics tracking ID into the text field

  5. Click "Save"

If you want to verify whether your Google Analytics tracking ID has been implemented properly, you can

  1. Check your real time reports

    1. Sign in to your Google Analytics account
    2. Navigate to property to which you added the tracking code.
    3. Open "Reporting".
    4. Select "Real-Time > Overview" or "Real-Time > Behavior".
  2. Install "Google Tag Assistant" extension if you are Chrome user
